# How to Export Data from Clickup

> To export data from ClickUp, click your Workspace avatar, select Settings, and go to the Import/Export tab. Choose Start Export, then select Export. Wait a few minutes, click the Download Export button when ready, and open the downloaded CSV file with your preferred spreadsheet application.

## Steps

1. Click your Workspace avatar located in the upper-left corner.
2. Select 'Settings'.
3. Go to the 'Import/Export' tab.
4. Choose 'Start Export'.
5. Select 'Export'.
6. It will take a few minutes for your export to be ready. When the download is complete, click the 'Download Export' button.
7. The exported CSV file will be downloaded to your computer. Locate the file and open it with Excel or your preferred spreadsheet application.
