# How to Find Github Username

> To find your username on GitHub, click your profile picture in the top-right corner, select Your profile from the dropdown menu, and view your username displayed right under your profile picture on your profile page.

## Steps

1. Click on your profile picture in the top-right corner of the page.
2. Select 'Your profile' from the dropdown menu.
3. On your profile page, your username will be displayed under your profile picture.
4. Your GitHub username is what identifies you on GitHub, and it's also what you use to log in along with your password.
