# How to Give Developer Access to WordPress

> To give developer access to WordPress, navigate to Users and select Add new user. Assign a role from the drop-down menu, enter the developer's email address, and optionally add a message. Finally, click Send invitation to email the access invitation.

## Steps

1. On the left-hand menu, navigate to 'Users' and click on 'Add new user'.
2. Select the role you want to assign to the developer by clicking the drop-down arrow.
3. Enter the developer’s email address in the empty field.
4. Click 'Add a message'.
5. Once you're satisfied, click 'Send invitation' and WordPress will email them the invitation to access the site..
6. That's it! You have successfully provided developer access to WordPress.
