# How to Highlight in Confluence

> To highlight text in Confluence, first select the desired text by clicking and dragging. Next, click the Highlight icon in the toolbar, which is located right next to the text color icon. Finally, choose your preferred highlight color to emphasize key information.

## Steps

1. Select the text you want to highlight in your Confluence page. Just click and drag to make your selection.
