# How to import contacts to sendgrid

> To import contacts in SendGrid, go to Marketing, select Contacts, and click Add Contacts. Upload your CSV file, choose a list, click Next: Review CSV Upload, map fields as needed, and click Next: Add Contacts to complete the import process.

## Steps

1. Go to Marketing in the left sidebar.
2. Select Contacts from the dropdown.
3. Click Add Contacts on the top right.
4. Click "Upload CSV"
5. Drag and drop your CSV file containing contacts. Choose if you want to add them to a new list or an existing one.
6. Finally, click on Next: Review CSV Upload.
7. Map unmapped fields as per your CSV.
8. Click Skip Column for the ones you want to keep unmapped.
9. Lastly, click on Next: Add Contacts.
10. Your c ontacts are now imported!
