# How to Invite Someone to Slack

> To add a user to Slack, click the arrow near your workspace name, select the invite option, and enter their email. Next, choose to invite them as a member or a guest. Finally, hit send request to send an email invitation.

## Steps

1. Click on the arrow near your workspace name.
2. From the drop down menu, select the "Invite people to..." option.
3. Enter the email of the individual you wish to invite.
4. You can either invite them as a member of your organization (full access) or as a guest (limited access to Slack channels, files, and directory).
5. To wrap it all up, hit 'Send Request'. The person will receive an email with the request in their inbox.
