# How to Link Cells in Smartsheet

> To link cells in Smartsheet, select a cell in Grid View, open the top menu bar's More Options, and tap Cell Linking. Next, choose the target sheet, select the source cell, and click Create Link to successfully connect the source cell from another sheet to your selected cell.

## Steps

1. Inside Smartsheet's Grid View, find and select a cell.
2. After that, head over to the top menu bar and click the 'More Options' button.
3. Tap 'Cell Linking' to proceed.
4. Subsequently, choose the sheet that contains the cell you want to link.
5. Go over the sheet, then select the cell you want to use as the source cell.
6. Once done, click 'Create Link'.
7. After that, the source cell from another sheet will be linked to the selected cell.
