# How to Link Data From One Smartsheet to Another

> To link data from one Smartsheet to another, open Grid View and select the target cell. Click More Options in the top menu bar, choose Cell Linking, and select the sheet to connect to. Next, choose the source cell or cells, and click Create Link.

## Steps

1. Inside Smartsheet's Grid View, find and select the cell that contains the data you want to link.
2. After that, head over to the top menu bar and click 'More Options'.
3. Select 'Cell Linking' from the available options.
4. Following that, find and choose the other sheet you want to connect to.
5. Select the cell that contains the data you want to use as the source. You can select more than one if necessary.
6. Once done, click 'Create Link'.
7. After completing these steps, the data from one Smartsheet will be linked to another.
