# How to Mention Team Members Across Slack and Coda

> To sync Slack mentions to Coda, log in to Zapier and select Slack with the New Mention trigger. Connect your workspace, specify mentions, and test the trigger. Then, select Coda with the Update Row action, connect your account, choose the target document, test the step, and publish your Zap.

## Steps

1. Log in to Zapier, click "Create", and select "Zaps" to begin.
2. Select Slack as your trigger app.
3. Choose "New Mention" as the trigger event.
4. Connect your Slack workspace by clicking Sign In.
5. Specify which mentions to track (your username or keywords).
6. Click "Test trigger" to pull a sample mention.
7. Select Coda as your action app.
8. Select 'Update Row' as your Coda action.
9. Connect your Coda account (if not already connected).
10. Choose which Coda document should receive mentions.
11. Click "Test step" to confirm Slack mentions appear in Coda.
12. Click "Publish" to activate your Zap.
