# How to Modify Contact Fields in ActiveCampaign

> To modify contact fields in ActiveCampaign, click Contacts on the left menu, select Fields on the Manage menu, and open the Contacts tab. Hover over the desired field, click the pencil icon to open the Customize your field options modal, make your edits, and click Save.

## Steps

1. Click 'Contacts' on the left menu of your account.
2. On the 'Manage' menu, select 'Fields'.
3. Click 'Contacts' tab.
4. Hover your mouse over the field you wish to edit and click the pencil icon.
5. A 'Customize your field options' modal will appear. Make your desired edits.
6. Click 'Save'.
