# How to Play Background Music on StreamYard

> To play background music in StreamYard, open Media Assets in the right-hand pane, adjust the Volume slider in the Background Music section, and click the Play button on your chosen track.

## Steps

1. Inside StreamYard Studio, head over to the right-hand pane and click 'Media Assets'.
2. Scroll down to the Background Music section, then drag the 'Volume' slider to your desired level.
3. Subsequently, hover your mouse cursor over the background music you wish to use and then tap its corresponding 'Play' button.
4. After completing these steps, the selected background music will be played during your StreamYard session.
