# How to Record a Zoom Meeting

> To record a meeting in Zoom, start a new video conference from the dashboard and join audio by computer. Next, click 'Record' on the bottom menu bar. Finally, pause or stop the recording, and the file will save automatically to your device when the host ends the conference.

## Steps

1. On Zoom's main dashboard, click 'New Meeting' to start a new video conference.
2. Tap 'Join Audio By Computer' to make sure that the discussions will be recorded accordingly.
3. After that, go to the menu bar at the bottom section and click 'Record'.
4. Once done, click 'Pause/Stop Recording'. The copy of the recorded meeting will be saved automatically to your device once the host ends the video conferencing.
