# Remove URL from Google Search Console

> To remove a URL in Google Search Console, select your website property and open Removals from the sidebar. Go to the Temporary Removals tab, click New Request, enter the target URL, and choose to remove either the exact URL or all URLs with the prefix. Finally, click Next to submit your request.

## Steps

1. Select the website property containing the URL you want to remove.
2. Choose the " Removals " option from the sidebar.
3. In the " TEMPORARY REMOVALS " tab, click " NEW REQUEST ".
4. Enter the URL you want to remove.
5. Choose whether you wish to remove the exact URL or all URLs with this prefix.
6. Click "Next".
7. You can check the status of all your URL removal requests here.
