# How to remove users from jira after susepnding

> To remove users in Jira after suspending them, click the gear icon, select User Management, and click the user to open the detailed view. Next, click the three dots menu at the top, select Remove user, and confirm by clicking Remove User again.

## Steps

1. Click on the Gear icon on the top right.
2. And select User Management from the dropdown.
3. The actions menu next to your user only gives you option to Suspend User .
4. So instead, we will directly click on the user to open a detailed view.
5. Click on the Three dots at the top to reveal a menu.
6. You can now, click on Remove user .
7. Confirm your action and click on Remove User again.
