# How to Set Up a New Xero Subscription From Scratch

> To set up a new subscription in Xero, click your Profile icon, select Account, and open the Subscriptions tab. Next, click Add Subscription, fill in the required fields, and tap Start Trial to activate your new organization and begin your day-to-day operations.

## Steps

1. On Xero's main dashboard, head over to the top-right corner and click your 'Profile' icon.
2. After that, tap the 'Account' option.
3. Go to the 'Subscriptions' tab to proceed.
4. Subsequently, click 'Add Subscription' in the top-right corner.
5. One by one, fill out the input fields with the required information.
6. Once done, review your input and tap 'Start Trial'.
7. After completing these steps, your new organization, along with a free-trial subscription, will be activated. You may now build your Xero account from there and start your day-to-day operations.
