# How to Set Upwork Profile Public

> To make your profile public, click your profile picture, select Account Settings, and choose Profile Settings. Then, locate the Visibility section under My Profile, click the drop-down menu, and select Public to improve your chances of discovery by clients.

## Steps

1. Click your profile picture or name in the top-right corner.
2. Select 'Account Settings' from the dropdown menu.
3. In the settings menu, select 'Profile Settings' under the 'My Profile' section.
4. Go to the 'Visibility' section under 'My Profile' and click on the drop-down menu.
5. Select 'Public' from the three options.
6. A public profile improves your chances of being discovered by clients on and off Upwork.
