# How to Share a Coda doc

> To share a Coda doc, open your document on Coda.io, click the Share button in the top-right corner, and enter an email address or copy the link. Next, choose your sharing preferences, copy the embed code if needed, or publish the document.

## Steps

1. Go to Coda.io and open the document you want to share.
2. In the top-right corner, click the 'Share' button.
3. You can share via email just enter the email address of the person you want to share with or click the 'Copy link' button.
4. Choose how to share your Coda Doc.
5. You can embed the Coda doc by clicking 'Copy embed'.
6. You may also publish your Coda doc.
