# How to share an airtable base

> To share an airtable base in Airtable, find the Share button in the top right, assign appropriate access to your invitee, or invite them to work collaboratively in your workspace. Alternatively, select View in the share screen to share a specific view instead.

## Steps

1. Find the Share button on the top right of your Airtable base.
2. You can share your base and give appropriate access to your invitee.
3. You can also invite them into your workspace to work collaboratively.
4. It is generally a better practice to share a view instead, so you can select View in the share screen.
