# How to Share Notebooks in Amplitude

> To share notebooks in Amplitude, click 'Share' in the top-right corner of the Notebook Editor. Enter the user's name or email under the Share tab, select their permission level from the Access menu, optionally add a note in the Message box, and click 'Share' to complete the process.

## Steps

1. Inside Amplitude's Notebook Editor, head over to the top-right corner and click 'Share'.
2. Under the Share tab, tap the 'Add People' input field and enter the name or email address of the user to whom you wish to share the notebook.
3. Click the Access menu afterwards, then choose your preferred permission.
4. Following that, tap the Message box and type a short note if necessary.
5. Once done, click 'Share' to proceed.
6. After completing these steps, your Amplitude notebook will be shared instantly with the selected user.
