# How to Unlock a FigJam File

> To unlock a FigJam file, click on the locked element, click "Unlock" at the top, and click again or use the keyboard shortcut Ctrl+Shift+L for Windows or Cmd+Shift+L for Mac. Alternatively, right-click the selected element and choose "Unlock all objects" from the menu.

## Steps

1. Click on the locked element in your FigJam file that you want to edit.
2. Click "Unlock" at the top of the element.
3. Click again to unlock, you can also use the keyboard shortcut: Ctrl+Shift+L (Windows) or Cmd+Shift+L (Mac).
