# How to Update the Power BI Report

> To update the report in Power BI Desktop, open the .pbix file, navigate to the Home tab, and click Refresh to pull fresh data from your original data source. Power BI will automatically update all visuals, and you can then click the save icon to keep the changes.

## Steps
