# How to Use Linear's Timeline View

> To use the timeline view in Linear, go to the Projects tab, click Display, and select Timeline. View projects on a horizontal timeline, apply filters, customize groups, set ordering, and configure options. Save your setup by clicking Set default for everyone and then Save.

## Steps

1. Go to the 'Projects' tab in the sidebar.
