# How to view epics in jira

> To view epics in Jira, head to the Backlogs in the left pane, click View Settings on the right, and enable the Epic Panel. Your epics will appear on the left, and clicking an epic tile will filter the associated issues for viewing.

## Steps

1. Head over to the Backlogs in the left pane.
2. Click on View Settings on the right. Enable the Epic Panel .
3. Your Epics will now be visible on the left. And if you don't have an Epic, you can create it.
4. Click on the Epic tile.
5. The issues associated with the Epic will be filtered for viewing.
