1. Head over to Keyword Overview in the left sidebar.

2. Search for the desired keyword. Specify the location as well.

3. You get the Search Volume, aka number of times this keyword is being searched in the location you specified.

4. You also get the Keyword Difficulty, aka how easy it is to rank for the keyword.

5. Semrush also allows further drilling down on location to get more specific data.

6. Semrush uses advanced machine learning algorithms and vast amounts of search engine data to calculate keyword volumes.

   2. Processing this data through a computing cluster to create a model

   3. Applying the model to estimate volumes for billions of keywords
