1. Head over to Domain Overview in the left sidebar.

2. Search for the website whose traffic you want to know.

3. Semrush gives you the estimated organic search traffic the website gets.

4. You also get a traffic distribution by country to understand the Audience breakup data on a geographical level.

5. Semrush estimates website traffic using a combination of data sources and algorithms involving:

   • Analyzing the website's visibility in search engine results

   • Identifying the keywords the site ranks for

   • Calculating the average search volume for those keywords.

6. Using these factors, Semrush's algorithms generate an estimate of the number of visits a website receives.

   And you get a site's performance and popularity, even without access to actual visitor data.
