1. In the Jira top navigation bar, click on 'Plans'.

2. From the dropdown, click on 'Create plan' if you want to create a new one.

3. Name your plan, fill in the details and click 'Create'.

4. Once inside, you'll see a timeline view where you can manage epics, sprints, and releases.

5. Use the timeline for visualizing progress and dependencies, planning across multiple teams, and forecasting work.
