How to Add Date Slicer in Power BI

1. Open your Power BI Desktop and go to the 'Report View'.

2. From the 'Visualizations' pane, select the 'Slicer' visual.

3. Drag the 'Date' field from the Fields pane into the slicer.

4. By default, the slicer will display as a 'Date Range' slicer.

5. Click on the slicer to select it. Go to the 'Format' tab.

6. Under 'Slicer settings', go to 'Selection' and customize the date slicer.

7. By following these steps, your date slicer is now ready.
