Open Power BI and load your data. Go to the 'Report View'.
From the 'Visualizations' pane, select 'Slicer'.
Drag the desired field from the 'Fields' pane to the slicer.
Go to the 'Format' settings.
Under 'Slicer settings', change the slicer type to 'Dropdown'.
Turn on the 'Multi-select' option.
Now, your slicer will display as a dropdown list.
