1. Go to the board that contains your report.

2. Click on the report header to open.

3. Locate the breakdown segmentation tab on the bottom left.

4. Click on the + Create button next to the search bar.

5. Pick the type of property or parameter you wish to create.

6. This will open a custom property definition window. Start by entering the name for your property.

7. Then, enter a formula using other existing properties to create a new custom property.

8. When done, click on Apply.

9. You've just created a new property or parameter for your users.

10. You can now use this custom property to aid you in your analysis. This feature is often used to group multiple parameters into one such as socials.
