1. Navigate to your Jira project.

2. In the sidebar, select the ellipsis icon located at the upper right side of your board.

3. Select 'Configure board'.

4. Click 'Columns'.

5. If the status already exists in the workflow but is not yet assigned to a column, it will appear in the 'Unmapped Statuses' section. You can drag and drop the status into the appropriate column.

6. After dragging the status, it will now appear under the column you’ve assigned it to.

7. By following these steps, you can easily manage the board columns and align them with your workflow statuses.
