1. Go to Plugins.

2. Search for Yoast and click on it.

3. Click Activate to continue with Yoast SEO plugin.

4. Open the post/ page where you want to add canonical tag.

5. Scroll down to the SEO Section.

6. Find the settings box below the content editor and go to Advanced.

7. Add the canonical URL and enter the URL of the preferred canonical version of the page you are editing.

8. Click Update to save your changes or update the post/ page. The canonical tag will now be added to the HTML code of that page.
