Salesforce - How to Add Field to Task Object in Salesforce

Guide

1. Go to Setup > Object Manager.

2. Look for the Activity label and click on it.

3. Click on the Fields & Relationships tab.

4. Click on New.

5. Choose the appropriate data type for your field (e.g., Text, Number, Date, etc.).

6. Add text

   Click here to add a description

7. Enter a clear and descriptive label for users to understand the field's purpose.

8. After providing maximum length of the field, hit Next.

9. Hit Next.

10. Finally, hit Save.
