1. Open your Power BI Desktop and click 'Blank report' to get started with a fresh canvas.

2. Navigate to the 'Report' view and select the 'Insert' tab from the top ribbon menu.

3. Click on 'Image' in the ribbon to add a visual element to your report.

4. Browse and select the image from your computer. Once added, you can drag the image around or resize it by pulling the corners.

5. Click 'File' to save your work before you celebrate your design skills.

6. Give your masterpiece a name, you've successfully added an image to your Power BI report.
