How to Add Requirements in Jira



Guide

  1. Go to 'Jira administration' by clicking the gear icon.

  2. Select 'Issues'.

  3. In the 'Issue types' field, click 'Add issue type'.

  4. Name your issue type and click 'Add'.

  5. Once you have created a new issue type, click 'Create'.

  6. Choose the issue type by clicking the drop-down arrow.

  7. Select 'Requirement'.

  8. Once you're satisfied filling in the details of your requirement issue, click 'Create'.

  9. That's it! You have successfully created an issue type for clear tracking of requirements.
