How to calculate standard deviation in microsoft excel

Open the file in MS Excel and click on the cell where you’d like the answer to display.
Type "=STDEV" and select the type of standard deviation you wish to use.
Add an open parenthesis, select the cells you want to include in the calculation, and then close the parenthesis.
