How to Cancel Jira Ticket



Guide

  1. Select the ticket that you want to cancel.

  2. Go to the status menu and click on it.

  3. Click 'View workflow'.

  4. Click 'Edit workflow'.

  5. Select 'To-do status' located above the edit workflow.

  6. Create a status and click on it.

  7. Click 'Add'.

  8. Select 'Update workflow'.

  9. Click 'Save changes'.

  10. Configure the columns and statuses of your Jira tickets and click 'Save changes;.

  11. Click on the current status of the ticket and select 'Cancelled'.

  12. Confirm the status change, and the ticket should now be marked as 'Cancelled'.
