1. Head over to the left-side panel, then click 'Posts'.

2. Select the specific post you want to edit.

3. After that, navigate to the right-side panel and then click the name of the user next to 'Author'.

4. Tap the 'Author' drop-down menu and then choose the user you want to assign as the new author.

5. Once done, click 'Save' to apply the recent changes.

6. After completing these steps, the author of the selected WordPress post will be updated accordingly.
