Helpscout slack integration



Guide

  1. Log into Help Scout and navigate to Manage on the navbar.

  2. Select Apps from the dropdown.

  3. Search and select Slack. And when prompted, hit Install.

  4. Connect your Slack account and hit Allow.

  5. Select which events you want posted to Slack. Choose a Slack channel for each Help Scout Inbox.

  6. Click Save to apply changes

  7. Go to the Mentions tab and toggle it to Enabled.

    Then, map Help Scout users to their Slack usernames using the drop-down menus.

  8. To get notifications for unassigned conversations, select a user in the New Conversation @mention menu

    Click Save to apply changes
