How to Create a Bank Rule in Xero

On Xero's main dashboard, click the 'More Options' button next to a bank account.
Select 'Bank Rules' from the available options.
Following that, tap 'Create Rule' at the top-right corner.
Choose the type of transaction you want to cover.
Subsequently, start configuring the rule. Start by specifying your preference with regard to the application of the bank rule to the given conditions. Tick the radio button beside your choice.
Set up the condition next. Simply choose your preferred Field and Condition. After that, enter the corresponding value into the provided input field.
Following that, provide the other necessary information to complete the bank rule.
Once done, review your input and click 'Save'.
After completing these steps, the Xero bank rule will be created and enabled instantly.
