How to Create a Budget in Xero



Guide

  1. On Xero's main dashboard, head over to the top menu bar and click 'Accounting'.

  2. Select 'Reports' from the list of options.

  3. After that, click 'Budget Manager'.

  4. Tap the drop-down menu right below the 'Select Budget' section.

  5. Subsequently, click 'Add New Budget' to proceed.

  6. Enter a unique budget name into the provided input field, then click 'Save'.

  7. Following that, fill out the input fields with the required information related to your budget.

  8. Once done, review your input and click 'Save'.

  9. After completing these steps, a new budget will be created and added to your Xero account.
