1. Start by clicking on the 'System' menu in the top navigation bar to access Joomla's administration tools.

2. Click on 'Extensions' from the dropdown menu, this is where we'll install our new component.

3. Look for the 'Upload Package File' tab and select it. This is how we'll add our custom component to Joomla.

4. Click 'Browse' or 'Choose File' to find your component ZIP file on your computer.

5. Now, select your component package file (should be a .zip).

6. Joomla has successfully installed your component. You should see a confirmation message on your screen.

7. Now, head over to the 'Components' menu in the top navigation, your newly installed component should appear in the dropdown.

8. Click on your 'Hello World' component in the menu to open it.
