How to Create a Task Management System in Coda



Guide

  1. Hit '+ Blank doc'.

  2. Provide a name for your task management system.

  3. Click on the add icon.

  4. Type /table and select 'Table' to add a new table.

  5. Once you have added a new table for your task, add the relevant columns to continue.

  6. Click 'Column type' to change the column type of your column based your needs.

  11. Add a 'Note' column to enter the data.

  13. Type / 'Calendar' to view tasks by deadline, perfect for planning your week or month.

  14. You can create different views of your tasks based on your needs

  15. Type / 'Board' to view tasks using a Kanban-style workflow.

  16. This card-based format makes task management more intuitive, perfect for teams that prefer visual workflows.

  17. Click the 'Settings' icon to access automations.

  18. Select 'Automations' to add a rule for your task management system.

  19. This will handle routine task updates and notifications without manual work.
