How to create subtask in jira

Open the issue for which you'd like to create subtasks.
Click on Add a child issue.
Name your Subtasks.
You can also define the Subtask type.
You will be able to see an option to view your subtasks on the board.
Click on it and your subtasks will be visible on your board.
