1. Inside your Microsoft Excel worksheet, select the cell where you wish to run the first formula and then type an 'Equals' (=) sign.

2. After that, input 'Sequence' and select it from the suggested results.

3. Add the Max function next. Simply type 'Max' and then choose it from the suggested results.

4. Subsequently, select the cell range that contains the series of numbers with missing values and then end the formula with two closing parentheses.

5. Click anywhere around the worksheet to run the first formula and process the result.

6. Following that, select another cell for the second formula and then type an 'Equals' (=) sign.

7. Input 'Unique' and then choose it from the suggested results.

8. Next, select the cell range containing the incomplete numeric series, as well as the result of the Sequence formula earlier.

9. Add a 'Comma' (,) and then choose 'False'.

10. Subsequently, select 'True' and then end the formula with a closing parenthesis. Tap anywhere around the worksheet to finally run the formula and process the result.

11. After completing these steps, the missing numbers from the selected numeric sequence will be identified instantly.
