1. Inside your Microsoft Excel worksheet, find and select the cell where you wish to add and run the slope formula.

2. After that, navigate to the top menu bar and then click 'Formulas'.

3. Choose 'More Functions' from the available options.

4. Tap 'Statistical' afterwards.

5. Subsequently, find and choose 'Slope' from the given list.

6. Click the 'Known_ys' input field then type the specific cell range that contains the Y values.

7. Likewise, tap the 'Known_xs' input field and enter the cell range that contains the X values.

8. Once done, click 'Insert' to proceed.

9. After completing these steps, the slope value will be calculated and displayed in the selected cell.
