1. Head over to the top menu bar and then click 'Apps'.

2. Select 'Explore More Apps' from the list of options.

3. Following that, search for 'Coda' and then select 'Coda+ For Jira' from the results.

4. Tap 'Try It Free' at the top-right corner.

5. Subsequently, click 'Start Free Trial' to proceed.

6. On the project's main dashboard, select and open the issue you want to connect to Coda.

7. After that, scroll down to the Embeds section and then choose 'Coda' from the list of integration options.

8. Enter the embed code into the provided input field.

9. Lastly, click 'Save' to apply the changes.

10. After completing these steps, the selected Coda document will be integrated instantly with Jira.
