1. On the WordPress block editor, click the image you want to optimize.

2. Following that, go to right sidebar and configure the settings under the Block tab. As for images, start by entering an alternative text into the provided text field.

3. Scroll down afterwards and then recalibrate the image size settings according to your liking.

4. Next, click the 'Style' icon and then start customizing the image appearance using the available settings.

5. Once done, click 'Save Draft' to apply the changes to the selected image before you publish the WordPress content.
