How to Reference a Cell From Another Sheet in Microsoft Excel

  1. Inside your Microsoft Excel sheet, select the cell you wish to use and then type an 'Equal' sign (=).

  2. After that, enter the name of the sheet that contains the cell you wish to use as a reference.

  3. Type an 'Exclamation' mark (!) next to the sheet name.

  4. Lastly, type the cell reference' you wish to use.

  5. Tap anywhere around your worksheet to run the formula and apply the changes.

  6. After completing these steps, the value of the selected cell reference from another sheet will be copied and displayed accordingly.
