Open your Power BI desktop and select a report.
Go to the 'File' tab.
Select 'Options and settings'.
Under 'Options and settings', click 'Options'.
Go to the 'Current file' section and select 'Data load'.
Go to the 'Time intelligence' section and uncheck the 'Auto Date/Time for new files'.
Once done, click 'OK' to confirm.
That's it! You have successfully removed the date hierarchy in Power BI.
