1. Navigate to the repository that you want to rename.

2. On the repository page, click on the 'Settings' tab usually found at the top-right of the repository name.

3. Under the 'General' settings, go to the 'Repository name' and enter your preferred name for your repository in the empty field.

4. Once done, click 'Rename'.

5. That's it! You have successfully renamed a repository in Github.
